Thanks to your votes, your hard work, and your generous contributions, the race for City Council District H is a dead heat.

Saturday’s election demonstrated that you want a City Council Member who talks to you, listens to you, and engages you.

Because of our hard work out in the district engaging with District H residents, our support has grown from a small grassroots movement to a dead heat in an upcoming runoff election. As we’ve knocked on doors and made calls to more and more voters across the district, our support has continued to grow.

I promise that I’ll run my council office the same way I run my campaign: by reaching out to everyone in the district and listening to what people have to say. Nobody should tell you how to vote or what to think.

The issues that we face in District H—rising crime, aging infrastructure, and soaring electricity rates—can only be solved by this approach. Business as usual isn’t going to cut it.
