Houston’s air quality is unacceptable. Smog makes our city dirty and causes health problems for everybody. Maverick will take action to improve the air we breathe.

MAVERICK’S PLAN

Dirty skies are making Houston an uncomfortable and unhealthy place to live. Across the state, and across the country, Houston continues to get a bad reputation for its air quality. Pollution is more than an issue of appearance: studies consistently show that poor air quality is linked to serious health problems. Maverick knows the City of Houston has an obligation to keep our skies clean and our population healthy. He will fight vigorously at City Hall for cleaner air, because everyone in Houston deserves to live and raise their children in a neighborhood free of pollution.
